Lady Ann Clewett, born in 1842, was the first white girl born in St. Paul, MN. Her father, James Reuben Clewett, was born in England in 1810 and came to the United States in 1829. He married Rose Ann Perry in April, 1839. Theirs being the first marriage performed in St. Paul, MN.

James Clewett was a clerk with the American Fur Trading Company in Prairie du Chein, WI and Traverse de Sioux at St. Peter, MN. He also accompanied Joseph Nicollet on several mapping expeditions across Minnesota.

This spacious lower level three room suite offers a queen pine bed with an in-room double whirlpool with shower, a private sitting area with lake access, private living room area with TV/VCR/DVD and an unattached private bath with a shower.
